Isn't it amazing how you can meet that one person who changes your life? That would be my Mark. We met by chance....our paths crossed at the right time and our universes came together. He is my soulmate...the love of my life. I can remember hearing about him from Luke's special Ed teachers at HCA. they knew Luke would be going to CFJ and they felt he would be a good fit for Luke. I met Mark the first time at Luke's CSE meeting. We started dating 2 yrs later. Our first 'date' was at Bailey's bar in Binghamton after a parent committee meeting for Headstart, which we were both representatives. Sparks flew that night....the rest, as they say is history. He has taught me to believe in myself, to not give up. Because of him I strive to be a better person, a better wife, mother. Sometimes I wish I had met him when I was younger, but God had a plan....and neither one of us was ready then. We are ready now and that's why it works. It happened when I wasn't looking, I was focusing on bettering my kids and myself when we started to date. He continuously believes in me- because of him I haven't had a drink in 40 months- and I'm a better person because of it.

My three loves
I have three children....Halie- age 12, Luke- age 9, Jack- age 8. Halie is a dancer and a cheerleader. She is an amazing, beautiful, smart, thoughtful, young girl. She is on the honor roll at school, as well as a member of the school newspaper and the yearbook. Luke was diagnosed with Autism when he was 3 years old. I will tell you more about him in due time......he is a thoughtful, caring, handsome young man. He has his own unique personality and enjoys art, basketball, baseball and football. Jack is my "Amelia Bedilia". He drives me absolutely crazy, but I don't know what I would do without him! He was a wonderful baby, as we called him 'laid-back Jack'. I'm not sure what has happened to him......he is full of energy, and LOVES sports.
Well, here it goes.....
Ok, Mark told me quite some time ago, that rather than facebook I should blog about our crazy lives. You see, you take a bachelor, a single mom, 3 crazy kids and a dog......life is bound to be interesting. You have no idea.....so welcome to our blog.
